FRENCH TOAST WITH CREAM CHEESE AND STRAWBERRY SAUCE

Whenever I have leftover bread in my kitchen I instantly know that I have to make French toast.I love eating French toast for breakfast,so this time I got a little innovative and instead of the plain one i served it with some cream cheese and strawberry sauce and it turned out absolutely delicious.

INGREDIENTS-
3 slices of stale French bread
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp sugar
A pinch of cinnamom
2 tsp vanilla essence
Butter for frying
100 grams Cream cheese
FOR THE SAUCE-
10 strawberries
1 tsp sugar or to taste

METHOD-
Whisk together the eggs,sugar,milk,1 tsp of vanilla essence and the cinnamom powder.

Transfer the egg mix to a shallow dish inorder to dip the bread slices.

Dip both sides of bread in the mix.

Meanwhile,in a pan over medium heat melt the butter.

Fry the bread slices until golden brown on one side and then turn and fry the other side.

Serve immediately with the strawberry sauce and cream cheese.

For the strawberry sauce-
Blend the strawberries and sugar together in a blender.

For the cream cheese-
Whip the cream cheese with 1 tsp of vanilla essence until smooth.

CHOCOLATE AND ORANGE SANDWICH

When I’m craving for something chocolaty and I want it instantly.I know exactly what I got to do when I haven’t got the time to bake me a cake.I make myself this really easy chocolate sandwich with orange in it,its really sinful,and as an added bonus this  Sammie has also won me competitions.

INGREDIENTS:-

·    2 bread slices
·     150 grms chocolate
·     1 seville orange
·     2tbsp milk
·     Extra chocolate for garnishing

METHOD-

·     Melt the chocolate on a double boiler with the milk.Mix till smooth.
·     Add grated zest of the orange.
·     Mix well and let it cool a bit.
·     Take the bread and spread the chocolate sauce generously on it.
·    Place the second slice on top and again spread the chocolate sauce over it.
·     Finally,sprinkle grated chocolate on top.





EGGLESS CHOCOLATE BALLS


 EGGLESS CHOCOLATE BALLS
Chocolate balls are absolutely delicious but to make an eggless version for my vegetarian friend felt like an impossible thing to do for me.So I experimented in my kitchen a little and came up with this amazing recipe that makes the best chocolate balls ever and it dosen’t require much ingredients and is easy to do as well and is ready in no time.

INGREDIENTS-(makes minimum 13 balls)
·       1 bourbon buiscuit packet
·     200 grms dark chocolate
·     220 ml cream
·     1 cup desiccated coconut

METHOD-

·     Crush or process the buiscuits in a processor finely
·     Melt the chocolate with cream on a double boiler.
·     Mix till smooth.
·     Now add the melted chocolate in the crushed buiscuit and mix well.
·     Let the mixture cool down a little till balls can be formed.
·     Make balls and you can roll them in desiccated coconut till the balls are evenly coated.


·     NOTE- It dosent require to be refrigerated but if your making it ahead a day or so.Then you can refrigerate it and keep it 2 hours at room temperature before serving.These chocolate balls keep good for etleast a week.
