Its
12:00 pm already and to top it up its valentines day and I got no desserts made
yet.Luckily,I got the idea at the last minute to make chocolate hearts out of
my leftover cookie dough which I had kept refrigerated.
A few fancy touches here
and there along with some personal messages for my guy and my chocolate hearts
were ready in no time..
INGREDIENTS:
(makes 25 depending on size)
200
grams chocolate cookie dough
{you can use this recipe as well but without the chocolate chips}
200
grams white chocolate
A
few drops of pink color
Heart
shaped cookie cutter
Parchment
paper
METHOD:
Preheat
the oven to 180C.
Line
the baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll
out the cookie dough and with the help of cookie cutter cut heart shaped
cookies.
Bake
them for 10 mins.
Let
cool on a cooling rack.
Melt
the white chocolate on a double boiler.
Add
a few drops of pink color to 3/4 th of the melted white chocolate.
Mix
well.
Dip
the cooled chocolate cookies in the coloured white chocolate and place on a
parchment paper.
Skewer
the coated chocolate hearts before the chocolate sets.
Let
the chocolate set for 10 mins.
Meanwhile,make
a small piping bag with parchment paper and pour in the rest of the melted
white chocolate.
Pipe
your personal messages on the cookie like I love you,be mine,my valentine etc..
Keep
the chocolate hearts in the refrigerator for 15 mins,so that the chocolate sets
completely.
Your
chocolate hearts are ready to make your valentines day even more special..
