I really look forward to cozying up with a good book and a big mug of my hot chocolate at night after a big day.

Pure comfort!!

I love the combination of chocolate and orange,it never goes wrong.

You can try making other variations of hot chocolate by adding Cinnamom sticks, Hazelnut, Caramel, Nutella or Mint.

To make an adult version of Hot chocolate, you can splash in kahlua or brandy in it.
INGREDIENTS: (makes 2)
 2 cups full cream milk
100 grams dark chocolate chopped
1 big tbsp chocolate drink powder(I used galaxy’s)
5 Thick strips of orange
1 cup whipped cream
2 chocolate and vanilla tuiles (optional)

In a small saucepan, add in the milk, slices of orange rind and heat over medium heat.

Remove from heat when the milk starts boiling.

Let it rest for 15 mins so that the orange flavor is infused in the milk (optional, if you can’t wait to just gulp it down like me!!)

After 15 mins.Put the saucepan back on heat and add the chopped chocolate and chocolate drink powder.

Keep stirring the milk and heat until the chocolate is melted.

When done, strain the hot chocolate in cups.
Pipe whipped cream on top.

Garnish with a tuile and sprinkle some chocolate drink powder on top.
